Allison Garlick, CMHC (she/her)

Therapist

Allison received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and her Bachelor's degree from Utah State University in Equine Science and Management. She has volunteered and works at the National Ability Center, instructing Adaptive Horseback Riding Lessons for individuals with disabilities. Allison has worked with children and adolescents in various organizations and recently finished her practicum with Quality Youth Services providing therapy for adolescents and transitioning adults in the Juvenile Justice System. She has experience in treating depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and serving individuals with trauma. She has a passion for helping people find greater life wellness and mental health. Allison utilizes an integrated therapeutic approach emphasizing Humanistic, Experiential, and Psychodynamic theories and hopes to integrate her counseling into Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in the future.
