Augustine Ruff (she/her)

MSW Intern

Augustine (she/her) is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University with a minor in Global Women's Studies. Augustine is Swiss-American, and loves working with people of all cultures and walks of life. Her research as an undergraduate student gave her a passion for working with women and children facing challenges that inevitably come to us all. As a caretaker and case manager, she experienced the resiliency of individuals, and the ability people have to adapt and learn when faced with challenges. Augustine firmly believes that mental health care is one of the most valuable things a person can do to improve their life in a comprehensive way. She values talk therapy as a form of authentic human connection, one that can shed light on the aspects of our lives that may not be in line with our values and that allows us the opportunity to realign our choices with what is most important to us. Augustine enjoys reading, cooking up new recipes, and spending time with her husband and family.
