Elizabeth Manley, PsyD (she/her)
Psychologist
Dr. Elizabeth Manley (she/her) believes that each person who enters the therapy room deserves an approach tailored to their specific needs and strengths, rather than a one size fits all application of therapeutic interventions. As such, she spends a substantial amount of time up front developing a relationship with you that helps to support the therapeutic process. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults, as well as supporting parents through the joys and struggles of parenting. Elizabeth is direct, nonjudgmental, and has a deep respect for the bravery and vulnerability it takes to show up in the therapy room.
Elizabeth’s training and experiences have primarily focused on adolescents and emerging adults, gender-diverse individuals, Autism and communication disorders, and psychological assessment and diagnostic clarity. Her therapy approach is eclectic by nature but is primarily client centered. She also integrates interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Elizabeth received her doctorate from Antioch University New England and completed training at Assumption College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (pediatric neuropsychology). She additionally received postdoctoral training in neuropsychological assessment. To keep herself balanced outside of clinical work, Elizabeth enjoys camping and spending time with her bird dog who takes up an inordinate amount of her time and affection.
