Maureen Noble, ACMHC (she/her)

Therapist

Maureen completed her Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s degree, from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and has been in the mental health field working with adolescents, emerging adults and families since 2006. Maureen is passionate about supporting and guiding individuals’ exploration of his/her personal values and belief systems - taking a collaborative and holistic approach to counseling. Maureen has specialized in art therapy, believing the imagination and the unconscious are an entryway, as to find insight, meaning, empowerment and connection. She has worked with adolescents and adults suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, gender and identity issues, self-esteem challenges and individuals with learning differences. Maureen has experience in Art Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy.

In her five years in Utah, Maureen has worked in residential and private practice settings as an experiential art therapist in individual and group settings. Maureen believes that through the evidenced-based art assessments and interventions, individuals can bypass the roadblocks of language, stigma, and culture as to uncover hope, build resilience and self-compassion; promoting lasting healing and growth. When Maureen isn’t working, she enjoys “arting,” skiing, reading and spending time with her family and beloved kitty and two labs.
