McKenzie Hamlin
CMHC Intern
With over eight years of experience in youth development and mental health, I am a dedicated professional who is passionate about fostering growth, confidence, and resilience in adolescents and adults. My background includes working with diverse populations in therapeutic and outdoor/experiential education settings. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and believe that humans are complex individuals who require a holistic approach to mental health. I have also worked with adults in substance use recovery, integrating play, humor, and CBT skills to make sessions engaging and effective. I am committed to creating supportive environments where individuals can thrive. I am an avid trail runner, hiker, and woodworker, and enjoy taking my pup on all the adventures. My areas of passion are youth, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+.Â
