Dr. White loves working primarily with children, teens and their families. No matter the treatment setting, Dr. White truly believes helping individuals at a young age can help positively influence the rest of their lives. Additionally, Dr. White has extensive training and a specific interest helping those with oppositional, emotional dysregulation, and attention difficulties (e.g., Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder and ADHD). Dr. White also enjoys working with those who struggle with anxiety, OCD, and depression (e.g., Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, Selective Mutism, Social Phobia, Major Depressive Disorder).
As a therapist, Dr. White believes that every family, person and child are individuals with different strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, her approach to treatment comes with careful thought and concern for the individual and families. Dr. White wants all her clients and their families to leave her office believing that they have the ability to be resilient and thrive in any circumstance.
