Adam Trump, ACMHC (he/him)
Hello, my name is Adam. I greatly respect that you’re here and reading this. If you are, it’s likely that you or someone you care about is experiencing pain or a challenge in some way, and it’s already taken a bit of work to arrive here. I encourage you to keep moving forward. As a therapist, I love connecting with people. Watching smiles widen and eyes brighten while using evidence based treatment is what I enjoy most about what I do here at Resolutions Counseling. I approach therapy with a collaborative spirit and I enjoy working with families, adults, emerging adults, and youth. My training includes the areas of anxiety related disorders, depression, family systems, psychosocial development, and crisis intervention. I personally have so many interests and hobbies that I find it difficult to describe them all, and I find the same challenge as a clinician. As a result, I enjoy using as many different theoretical viewpoints required to best fit the needs and perspectives of those I work with. I love being creative in session, and in my personal life.
If I’m not at work you can find me tinkering in my garage (love it), cooking, or backpacking with my family and hopefully reeling in a fish.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia.
