Alexis Ortiz, LCSW (She/her)
Therapist
My love and gratitude for the therapeutic process has grown as I’ve been touched by witnessing the resilience and courage of my clients. I strongly believe each person is inherently valuable and capable of creating lasting, meaningful change. My therapeutic approach is anchored in creating a safe space that emphasizes choice, empowerment, and unconditional positive regard. My office is our shared space to explore and address your experiences with authenticity, compassionate consideration, and curiosity.
As an attachment-based therapist who emphasizes trauma-informed care and the science of interpersonal neurobiology, I emphasize the importance of meaningful relational connection and personal agency in establishing positive mental health outcomes. I view therapy as a partnership that honors your strengths, lived experience, and pacing while connecting you with an integrated approach of evidence-based modalities and psychoeducation–this means we walk the path together as a team. In our work, you can expect to be supported in building robust coping skills while enhancing resources, reprocessing and overcoming adverse life experiences, building a lifestyle guided by your core values, and in creating more fulfilling relationships. As an added bonus, we may just have some fun while doing it!
