Therapist

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”  -Carl Rogers

I hold this quote close to my work as a therapist. I believe that healing begins with self-acceptance, and that meaningful change grows from a foundation of compassion, curiosity, acceptance, and connection. These are the values that guide how I show up with clients and shape the therapeutic relationship we build together.

My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in a humanistic approach, which centers on empathy, authenticity, and the belief that each person has the capacity for growth. I incorporate attachment-based and psychodynamic theories to explore how early experiences shape current patterns, and I use somatic techniques to support body-mind connection and emotional processing. As a trauma-informed therapist, I also integrate evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

I work with both teens and adults navigating a variety of challenges, including low self-esteem, attachment-related issues, body image, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, ADHD, complex trauma, and family or relational dynamics. I also welcome individuals seeking support with other emotional or psychological concerns—therapy is a space where any part of your story is worth exploring.

Above all, my goal is to support you in building a more connected, empowered, and authentic relationship with yourself and others. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to meet you with curiosity, care, and attunement.

When I’m not working, I love taking advantage of the beautiful outdoor opportunities that Utah has to offer. You can often find me hiking or camping, embracing the beauty of nature alongside my loyal canine companion, Harvey.
